A photo of a matte black Audi R8 is spreading on the internet in Korea with rumors that it belongs to TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki’s very own real life anime character Jaejoong. If you can recall, about a year ago, TVXQ’s Micky Yoochun was spotted driving an Audi R8 of his own. He recently traded the car in for a Porsche Panamera.

The rumors also state that Jaejoong’s Audi R8 was originally silver but he recently customized the color to matte black. The Audi R8 is a V8 420 horsepower supercar (newer models are V10 with 518 horsepower) and costs around $125,000 US. It’s even more expensive in Korea with a price tag of around $200,000 US in Korea.

If the rumors are true and this car does belong to Jaejoong, I have to say that the boys of TVXQ have real great taste in cars. Thanks to sharingyoochun and ONETVXQ for sharing the information and Dee for the tip.

The 29th single of Korean dance-vocal group Tohoshinki, "BREAK OUT!", sold an approximately 170,000 copies on its first day, and ranked first on Oricon's daily chart on 1/26. While being in the middle of break-up turmoils, this is a good start that is probably going earn them first place on Oricon weekly chart for the 7th time.

The title song "BREAK OUT!", which contains encouraging messages to young people who are trying their best, is the theme song for NHK's drama "Tomehane! Suzuri Koukou Shodoubu". The coupling song is Junsu's solo "XIAHTIC".

Tohoshinki released their single "HUG" in November 2004 to mark their first time coming to Japan, and officially debuted in Japan in April 2005 with their single "Stay With Me Tonight". They first entered the Oricon weekly chart with their 7th single "Sky" (on sale in August 2006), which ranked 6th of that week. They have constantly been on the top 10 of the chart since then. Starting from their 18th single "Purple Line" (on sale in January 2008), they've had 6 singles that rank first on Oricon weekly chart, and are currently holding the record for being the only foreign artist to acquire that achievement.

They are planning to release their first best album "BEST SELECTION 2010" on 2/17.

TVXQ is certified Platinum

The boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki have achieved “Gold” (100,000 sales) in Japan numerous times for their singles but now they’ve achieved their first ever “Platinum” for their new single Break Out!

The RIAJ or Recording Industry Association of Japan states that you need at least 250,000 sales to achieve Platinum and Break Out! moved 255,917 units in one week.


The next goal for TVXQ will be “Million / Diamond,” (1,000,000 sales) the highest certification in Japan. Congratulations to the boys and hopefully they can achieve Million one day. Thanks to Brenna for the tip and junsuluv @ ONETVXQ for sharing the information.

"With a sales figure of 228,542 units the boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has reached the top of the Oricon Daily Charts for their Best Selection 2010 album. In a distant second place was AAA with Heartful which sold 16,822 units.

After achieving Platinum status with their single for Break Out! The boys will most certainly go Platinum with their Best Selection 2010 album."

TVXQ surpasses Bon Jovi & breaks another record!
Looks like another major record has been broken by one of the most successful boy bands in Asia!

On the 22nd, TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has sold approximately 413,000 copies of their Best Selection 2010 album. The album now has the most sales ever for a foreign group in the Japanese music industry. They broke the previous record that was held by American band, Bon Jovi, who had sold 379,000 copies of their album G’s Days. The record hasn’t been broken in over 14 years, making this accomplishment even more significant for the Korean group.

The album count will keep rising, as it wasn’t long since it’s release. Let’s see if they can reach the… 1 million sales mark!

TVXQ a arătat o scenă pentru a pratica pentru mai târziu în performanţa lui Michael Jackson ca un reprezentat asiatic cu o echipă compozitoare de dans în America la KBSTV live broadcasting "Entertainment Weekly" care a fost difuzată pe 13.
